# Glossary

> Guhan's terms in plain English.

## A

**Added** — when a prospect passes your filters and appears in a List (the watch history labels these **Landed**).

**Ask Guhan** — the chat assistant for your workspace. Ask questions or assign work in plain language. It can't delete anything.

**AI-drafted message** — a message Guhan writes for a specific prospect. Costs 1 credit. Compare **Fixed message**.

## B

**Brand & Voice** — where you set how Guhan sounds: tone, things to never include, and your products.

**Brief** — a short description of what a step should say. You give the intent; Guhan writes the actual words for each prospect.

## C

**Campaign** — the unit that does the outreach. A Campaign uses one or more Lists and runs a sequence across your channels.

**Company** — an organization record. Every prospect belongs to one. You can block a company, which adds its domain to Do-Not-Contact.

**Credit** — the unit Guhan spends on finding, enriching, and writing. Sending is free. See [Plans and credits](https://docs.outzen.ai/workspace-settings/plans-and-credits.md) for costs.

## D

**Do-Not-Contact (DNC)** — a workspace block list of email addresses and domains. See [Do not contact](https://docs.outzen.ai/workspace-settings/do-not-contact.md).

**Draft** — a Campaign that hasn't been launched, or a message waiting for your approval.

## E

**Enrichment** — pulling more detail about a prospect or company, such as the full profile, recent posts, a work email, or a phone number, so Guhan can personalize. See [Enrichment](https://docs.outzen.ai/audience/enrichment.md).

**Enrollment** — one prospect being placed in one Campaign's sequence.

## F

**Fit rating** — Guhan's assessment of how well a prospect matches what you sell, shown as Strong fit, Moderate fit or Weak fit in the Fit score column. See [How prospects get added](https://docs.outzen.ai/audience/lists/how-prospects-get-added.md#the-fit-rating).

**Fixed message** — a step that sends your exact text with variables like the prospect's name filled in. Not AI-drafted, so it doesn't cost an AI-message credit.

## H

**Handoff** — a point where Guhan stops automating and gives the conversation to a person. Modes include notify, approve, decide, take over, and schedule.

## I

**ICP** — Ideal Customer Profile: who you sell to.

**Inbox** — where replies and tasks that need you appear.

## L

**License** — the unit you buy. One license is one team seat, one sender account, and 2,000 monthly credits.

**List** — a group of prospects. Prospects get into a List through Import leads (a search or signal, a CSV, or added by hand). Campaigns draw from Lists. See [Lists](https://docs.outzen.ai/audience/lists.md) and [Import leads](https://docs.outzen.ai/audience/import-leads.md).

## P

**Product** — a description of something you sell, including its value proposition. Messages draw on it. Set under Brand & Voice.

**Prospect** — one person Guhan is reaching out to.

## Q

**Quota** — a daily or weekly cap on how many actions a sender account can take.

## R

**Reauthorize** — reconnecting a sender account whose connection expired.

**Read-only mode** — what a workspace enters when its trial ends without a subscription or a failed renewal isn't fixed in time. Watches and sends stop; your data is kept.

**Research brief** — a short write-up Guhan produces about a prospect to personalize messages and assess fit. Costs 1 credit.

## S

**Sender account** — a LinkedIn, email, or WhatsApp account Guhan sends from.

**Sequence** — the steps a Campaign runs for each prospect: sends, waits, conditions, handoffs, and exits.

**Signal** — a real-world event, such as new funding, hiring growth, or posting about a topic, that makes someone worth reaching out to now. See the [signal catalog](https://docs.outzen.ai/audience/lists/signal-catalog.md).

**Signal source** — a search rule on a List: who to look for, plus an optional signal. A List has one search or signal source; each source uses one signal.

## T

**Template** — a reusable starting brief for a step. See [Templates](https://docs.outzen.ai/brand-and-voice/templates.md).

## W

**Watch** — one scheduled run of a signal source's search.
